they called theirs nsp (native signal processing) i think that the modem
was just the analogue circuits, plus some sort of modulator, the cpu
providing all the smarts, the protocol, ecc etc. intel say that this makes
the modem much more flexible as any new protocols can be incorporated as
software.

no the stylus colour uses an s020034 black cart and an s020036 colour cart,
same as the sylus pro. i think that calling your model stylus colour 2 is a
bit of a marketing exercise as the original stylus colour has more in
common with the pro than the 2. i haven't tried refilling, i have thought
about it, there is a mob from noosa that advertise in apc, but so far i
have got all i need from the usa at an acceptable price. a set of
cartridges seem to last me about 6 months. the first lot ran the black and
colour carts out simultaneously, but although i replaced the black unit
about a month ago the current colour one is still going.
