Yep. I still talk to kevin very often in ICQ. I just figure the time put
in is not the time I like much anymore. To me posting has always been teh
lure.
Sure there are surges in posting but overall it has declined. I've studied
this over the last year and it hasn't changed. Its gotten worse. I'm even
sure if I saw a huge increase in mail I'd come back. But reality is here
that I know it won't happen.

Well elist is really an outdated issue anyways. It has no real bearing on
things since there are 3 forms of fido out there. Folks who take the
backbone and those who don't. etc..blah blah.you know all this.

But moderatorship is just a title that can be handed over with or without the
elist. If I recall Martin was the first. Then Tim, Then Kevin then me?
if I recall. But like you say its just a formal title now and has no real
meaning. I'll let you know. I did get an email from someone who might be
interesting but hes frequent reader. But your a better choice.

Thanks

I may still call a telnet board or so if I find an active one if not just
find a dead one (plenty of those) and lurk in the echos. I think even of a
couple fidonet on the web places I could visit. May not be gone 100% but
could
be a ghost still in some places.
