You make an excellent point, one that I didn't think about before making this
post. I have seen some unbelievable family situations. The example that comes
to mind is a disabled vet who locks his bedroom each night and puts a chair
up against the door for extra protection. It seems that his large teenage
son talks about cutting his throat in the middle of the night. If I stayed in
this situation, I would resolve it one way or another. I guess the family
situation could be much worse and make the street a more attractive
alternative.
