Good luck.

I'm sure moderation is not something you're likely to overdo.
KN> 1. Not enough on topic messages

Well, just for the sake of posting something Mike used to, here's
a version of his Prog newsletter that accidentally got saved when
I was trying to download some smut from the Internet last week...
[I tried to edit it for brevity but gave up after a rather feeble
effort since there wasn't the great gulf between interesting and
boring bits I was initially expecting. Anyroad, it serves as
evidence that there's way more music out there than I'll ever hear
and some of it might be worth searching for. This from somebody
who's only just bought some Gong albums in the last couple years
and never even heard any Marillion or Ozric Tentacles either before
trying out a couple in the last few years. Still waiting to hear
some of that Swedish stuff that sounds so interesting, but there's
so many more convenient ways to spend money than mailordering
overpriced import CD's. Oh well. Maybe I'll run across that
Porcupine Tree album on page 47 at a reasonable price...]

A few brief notes:
o Some of the reviews I had planned on slipping in this week (some Cuneiform,
Delerium and a few indie releases) were saved until next week. This issue
started to get rather large.)
o Many of you have submitted messages and reviews over the past several
eeks.
I'll be getting all of them incorporated over the next few issues, so hang
patiently. Priority is given to messages of timely value.
o Also, I meant to point out last week that the schedule for the 1997 New
Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival (aka Jazzfest) can be retrieved by sending
a message to listman@museum.tulane.edu with a message body of
get gibraltar jazzfest.97
A couple of good bands to check out are Astral Project and Woodenhead. If
you're coming to town for the Festival, I'd like to hear from you.
Finally, if you want to subscribe or unsubscribe, pay attention to the
addresses posted at the top of this issue.
