Over the years this has been discussed a few times.  I don't have any firm
arguments either way really.  While they can be seen as a waste of space, a
fair percentage of the echo participants like/want them. It's probably also
fair to say that much of what goes on in here could be eliminated if we
were to apply a 'waste/garbage' criteria.

IF there's a significant preference to not seeing them I'll consider it but
I also remember that there were more people expressed an interest in
getting them back when DAC left than said they shouldn't return.

Anyway, if there's a move to get rid of them then I will.  Discussion first I guess.
