I feel, if IBM thinkpads require one to use dfsee or make new master boot
records to be able to partition the HDD effectively for multiboot....then they are
really smoking something. IMHO, making bootable CD's or DOS boot CD's is
well beyond the capeability average end user. Gad zukks! I don't even try, but
so far I have not had to.
I just wish there was a floppy drive here so that I could try Partition Magic,
build all the partitions, make them bootable, then make volumes, then boot
LVM....to see what works.
Kris....you're buying a T40p. That's gutzzy. Good luck. I'm sure you will let
us know how it goes.
