I just discovered something missing from windows mail that I liked in OE.

I delete a lot of mails without waiting for them to be marked as
"read" so sometimes my deleted items will show as it does now 87
items bolded and the deleted items is bold. There used to be a choice if
you right click on deleted items to "mark all as read" which is
missing now. I can either empty deleted items or go thru 600 messages to
find the 87 that are not marked as read yet.
