Mine take about five days. I'm not sure about your heater, 
though. You run the risk of boiling them, or at least preventing 
germination.
My seed-bed is in small trays under a 15-inch fluorescent light 
in the corner of the kitchen counter. That location is well-
shielded from drafts, and enjoys the warmth and humidity of the 
kitchen. As well, the area is regularly policed by me on my way 
to/from the fridge and/or stove (vbg!)
