Nope, we're not Exchange, either, just Outlook or any mail client that
talks POP/SMTP/IMAP. While everyone at V2 had been "using"
Notes, many were very relieved to be away from it. The biggest problems
were where the prior tech at V2 had installed the Outlook/Notes connector,
and then tried to import all their notes email into Outlook. Only one or
two succeeded. She didn't realize the 2gig file limit in Outlook on Office
2k, XP. Then, the several that did work, she made the Notes NST file the
default inbound, which somehow linked back into Notes to use the Notes
Servers. When those went away, nothing worked, but I had to keep the
connector installed so it would read the NST.PST files properly. Or was it
PST.NST files, don't recall. Anyway, all I recall was that for several
months, it was a constant headache
I played with Notes back in my old OS/2 days, and realized for our use at
the studio, it was WAY overkill, so never pursued it any further.
