Some do indeed.

Bottom line: we should know more about the specifications of the 
specific models. Of course, if we have to rely on tricks like that, I 
mean, we need to perform all kinds of work-arounds because a normal boot 
from CD isn't possible, we have a problem and at least S. Systems has a 
big problem. (-:
