subject: DIVE Questions

Hi Brian!

[DIVE]
BE> 1) Is it still device independent or do I have to write code for each
 BE> video card?
Some device drivers do not support the "virtual video aperture".
So doesn't the standard 8514_32.

BE> 2) How fast is it?
Very fast ! Bitmaps 486x512 x 256 show up at 18 fps on my ATI GUP VLB.

BE> 3) How does it work in terms of living within a PM window? Is it easy
BE> to get this to happen?
Perfectly. It's quite easy.

Get the Warp II CD - and have a look into \TKBETA\SAMPLES\PM\DIVE. Should
fit your needs.
