Much of the crime here is committed by illegals.
You didn't mention that illegals stand on street corners waiting for
people to pick them up for work...such as painting, lawn mowing....and
relieve themselves right out in public.
One illegal was befriended by an elderly American woman....he
raped and killed her and he ran back to Mexico.
Illegals are harassing the American farmers and ranchers along the Texas
border.   Stealing their livestock...chickens and such.   Illegals are
bringing bundles of drugs in back packs into the U.S.
Illegals steal cars and take them to Mexico to sell.
I'll stop here, but there are a lot more horror stories.

If illegals break the first law  (entering illegally) they feel that
they might as well break other laws.  As you stated, not all illegals
are bad people, but they broke our laws.   They raced ahead of people
wanting to do the right thing....and that is entering this country
LEGALLY.
