-> BC> I remember, on another job I used to work, that our server BC> would
-> load a PCX (low graphics 300x200) Welcome screen each BC> time a user
logged
-> in for that days activity. Novell has a built in menu system if you want
-> ANSI type graphics. I believe it's *MENU or SMENU which is a takeoff from
-> Saber Menu. There is also DOUG MENU for third party SW which is what we
use.
I was thinking, on another server, that Novell would see a "LOGO_EGA.PCX"
file at boot up of a workstation and display that to the user. It was a low
graphic screen, but gave an appearance similiar to Win95 boot up screen. I
remember the file was some 4 directories down from \PUBLIC but I can't
remember exactly what it was.
We never used Saber Menus, but did use Direct Access Menus which may have
been what was displaying the graphics screen.
Thanks for your comments!
