The $249 price is the exact same price that USR charges a non-sysop to 
upgrade to the Courier V.E (or Courier V34). A reliable modem, but no where 
near the features of the ZyXEL Elite 2864. These are NON-SYSOP prices you 
know. And USR charges the same for sysops, if they're dumb enough to do a 
trade-in.:-)
