TR> TR> I know several just like him, and I don't understand it either. I
asked
TR> TR> one regular to please explain it to me, and he answered with one
ord,
TR> TR> "freedom". I still don't understand it.
TR> RT> I hope you are joking when you say you don't understand what was
eant
TR> RT> by 'freedom'. Unfortunately, I don't see a smiley in your response.
TR>I certainly understand the word, and their was no smiley on purpose. In
this
TR>discussion, the street person has a family and a home, but he chooses to
live
TR>on the street instead. Maybe you missed the portion of the discussion, but
it
TR>certainly wasn't any joke.
You are right, I missed part of the discussion. Sorry 'bout that. :^(
TR>Why would anyone choose hunger, cold, being dirty,
TR>and the elements over being in their home with their family?
Perhaps, being home with their family was more of an impact than the
hunger, etc.. I don't know that family, so I don't know for sure, but I
do know some family situations that I have seen where the street was the
better alternative.
TR>This was the
TR>question, and "freedom" didn't make much sense. Maybe Charles Hunter gave
the
TR>correct answer, "to avoid responsibility".
This may be more likely than my scenario.
