G'day Paul,

Replying to a message of Paul Edwards to Jeff Green on 15-06-96:

PE> So what modem are you using to get 28800 connects?

An el-cheapo Modem Blaster 28.8k. Funnily enough, it connects with nearly
anything at 28.8k first go.

PE> There was a strange problem a short time ago, with a good connect
PE> which seemed to exit straight away, presumably because you dropped
 PE> carrier? BFN. Paul.

Partial log for 15/6/96:

[chomp]

I have no idea what happened with the first call (I was in bed alseep). The
log is no use AFAI can see. The second called continued fine as you
probably noticed.

I've gone back through my log to 24/5/96 and it has never happened before.
That's as far back as my log goes. It's also probably around the time I
bought the 28.8 modem.
