No wonder some people react to me the way they do. They must, though, be
tired of waiting to talk, rather than listening to what I'm saying.

If your persona can withstand the onslaught of another's motivation, then you
should fair well. You could pick one skeptic from the herd and converse with
them 'til the end of your days and not fully understand them, nor they you.
However, you do make some valid points.
