Hey Guys (and ladies) I wonder if any of you besides me has tried out the recently available complete version of FreeDOS? I was amazed at how much OS/2 and Linux, including devel tools, are in it, such as Rexx stuff, Watcom, grep, vim, gcc etc etc. It is so packed you need a minimum of slightly over 2gigs free space to see it all. Naturally it is just blisteringly fast even on waaay old machines (has to be some advantage to simplicity, right?) I have only just begun checking it out and have a very limited idea of just how far it can go but the wealth of tools and cross-platform compatibilities are certainly interesting and possibly enticing for those of us weaned on DOS and OS/2 and either somewhat involved with or curious about Linux. Worth a look. http://www.freedos.org/ Jimmy [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Yahoo!
