Sorry about the last post, hit send by mistake and wasn't fast enough to
click cancel.
Stu. What might help me is if you use full path specifications. When
you refer to \programs\installed software
I have been assuming that were refering to e:\desktop\programs\installed
software but you could have a directory off the root of the drive as
e:\programs (which is what the meaning I have typically seen) and maybe
I am misunderstanding. As a general rule I use the \ to denote I am
speaking of directories (i.e. c:\desktop) whereas I denote folders or
the desktop with capitalization or double space between them or saying a
certain folder in another folder.
The goal is to get the Lotus templates out of the e:\desktop (I think
you said your drive was e:) directory. Into possibly e:\lotusw4 for
instance (where is not that critical, someplace that makes sense to you
and is not in e:\desktop).

Ok, I think I understand some of the problem. I was focusing on the
folder that had the size and wasn't looking at the ones that didn't ...
this is my fault here.
Ok. My Lotus Word Pro Smartmaster Templates that was not a shadow was
in Templates. My instructions would work no matter where they were but
you might want to change where things are to suite you (I just deleted
my shadow in Templates for instance for "Lotus Word Pro SmartMaster
Templates" and created a shadow of the "Lotus SmartMaster Templates,"
which had a shadow of the former in it, in the Templates folder)..
I have a shadow of the Lotus Word Pro SmartMaster Templates in my Lotus
SmartMaster Templates folder that is in my Lotus SmartSuite folder in my
Programs folder. That may be where your originals were but, whichever,
the principle is the same (which is why I phrased my last instructions
to open whichever folder they were in. Regardless of if they are in the
Templates folder or the SmartMaster Templates folder they are still on
the desktop.
The last set of instructions should take into account any circumstances
(even if the files were no longer on the desktop following them would
not hurt, just superfluous).
