PE> Where can I FREQ it from? If it's not
PE> FREQable, it's vaporware, just like OS/2 4.0.

FM> Interesting definition of "vapourware", on that
FM> basis Corel Draw is vapourware - you can't freq that.

PE> Or buy it in a shop.

FM> What about the latest program you or your colleagues wrote at work?

PE> Yes. If you have a problem, and I respond with "CVCHG fixes that",

RS> Massive faking, clearly its not vaporware.

PE> It is, it's not available to the world as a solution to ANY problem.

Thats not what the definition of vaporware is. Soorree.

Just like the software to run your submarines, it wont be
FREQable or buyable in a shop, it wont be vapourware tho.

Or say the CURRENT software that runs Airbus aircraft, its not
FREQable or buyable in a shop, that doesnt make it vapourware tho.

PE> oh, BTW, you can't get a copy of CVCHG, then it is vaporware.

RS> Soorree, aint so.

PE> It is. You haven't got a copy of it.

Thats not what defines something as vapourware. I dont have a copy
of the software that controls a particular nuclear power station either,
I cant FREQ it and I cant buy it in a shop either. It aint vapourware.

PE> It is not a solution to the given problem.

RS> Thats not what the word vaporware means. There is plenty of software
RS> thats not a solution to a given problem, even software thats FREQable.

PE> CVCHG is not a solution to ANY problem for the outside world.

Thats just as true of the software that controls the Airbus aircraft.
It aint vapourware tho in other than Loony Paul EdwardsSpeak.

PE> OS/2 4.0 is a solution to a problem for OS/2 developers,
PE> no-one else. Just like CVCHG. Both are vapourware.

Fraid not.
