LR> What OS/2 ISO Pascals are you referring to Peter? There were several 16bit OS/2 compilers (Microsoft, IBM, Topspeed), I do not know if they are still on the market. Topspeed's probably is (they have a modula-2 too). Most people don't want anything other than Borland's mutated "pascal",so they are not happy with a compiler that only recognizes pascal. Topspeed has also mutated the language, but not in a compatible way with Borland. LR> reply to whomever, that I stated or implied, that I wanted to do LR> DOS apps development and Windows under OS/2 - and discuss it on this LR> echo. Someone asked for clarification. We discuss the development of native OS/2 code here. Some of your current threads should probably be moved to netmail. VDM/Winos2 issues are almost always technical problems with OS/2 itself, and *not programming issues*; you program for VDM/Winos2 the same way as you program for DOS/Windows, and there are plenty of forums available for that. If you are having trouble with OS/2, there are plenty of forums for that too. There is a forum dedicated to VDM/Winos2 issues for pete's sake! This echo was created to serve programmer's writing native OS/2 code. The less traffic the better. LR> Based on your clearification, that this echo doesn't fully support what LR> I believe IBM had intended for OS/2, or what I thought I could use it LR> for for technical support, I will likely have to alter my plans. I LR> didn't know that until now. This echo has nothing to do with IBM. --- Maximus/2 2.01* Origin: A Man's house is his hassle.
