sure about the difference using NT, but I know the
differences when I used OS/2. Basically the DOS prompt is just that,
DOS. Whereas the CMD is using the OS's kernal. If I am right the CMD
is much more elegant and faster, since you don't have to go through a
command interpreter to get to DOS.
