| subject: | OS/2 crash-proof? |
DR| I agree with Mark. Significant compromises were made to support DR| Dos/Windoze. That support might be justifiable for a while, but DR| soon OS/2 will have to break with the past and move forward. This is all well and good, and I agree in general, but I still have to program DOS apps for the forseeable future. Until the time that DOS is no more, I will still have to test my code out in a DOS VDM, and my system remains vulnerable to coding errors during development. One of the reasons I went to OS/2 initially was it's crash-proof design, which hasn't worked out too well for me... --- þ RM 1.3 02371 þ Menu: (L)eech files (C)omplain to Sysop (D)rop Carrier --- FidoPCB v1.5 beta-'j'* Origin: BB-P * 919-557-3845 * 900 megs * USRobotics HST/V.34 (1:151/106) SEEN-BY: 12/2442 54/54 620/243 624/50 632/348 640/820 690/660 711/409 410 413 SEEN-BY: 711/430 807 808 809 934 942 712/353 623 713/888 800/1 @PATH: 151/106 1000 1002 3615/50 229/2 12/2442 711/409 54/54 711/808 809 934 |
