but then I live in Ontario,  50miles   north of the city of
Toronto, where they are moaning the loss to Montreal Canadiens last
night....  ya GO LEAFS...right to the bottom and the golf course...

Do you mean the women's or the Junior hockey Olympics?  I'd say
that there were many surprises at the men's hockey olympics.

As for Canuckia in the WC...  or Soccer
well being 85th in ranking, means a noshow for many a year to
come.

I have watched their inline hockey teams play...but they are not
as good as some of the Ice Hockey Teams they have, and they are
really picking up on it every year.   Reminds me of the Jammacia
and their winter appearance at Bobsledding ... and there were
Brasilians there too ...so never know.

I already do what I can to promote ice skating, and hockey in Brasil
and I am happy to say that the national tv network has even carried
domestic ice skating events, to get people interested in skating
and well in that 30c plus...they can also stay cool and exercise.
