| subject: | Power Supplies - detached |
Replying to a message from Russell Tiedt 5:7105/1 to All, About Power Supplies - detached, On Sun Sep 12 2004 RT> like to have the power supplies out side of the case housing the Scrap the cases, no need for this way of doing things. Get some plywood does not even have to be new, lay out power supply mobo, floppies, hds, cdroms/dvd and that is the size plus a bit for playing around. To secure the power supply, and floppies etc on the plywood use plumbers helper it is a strapping material that holds up water pipes and sewer pipes about 1" wide with lots of holes in it. To cool this use a regular house hold fan, If you want to stack these you can just put sides on this and add about 3-6" over the highest card for good air movement. Relatively simple, cheap and easy. Also takes up less desk space or shelf space. Hope this helps. Keep us posted. We are a fine board trying to make it better. http://www.pris.bc.ca/ghannah ghannah{at}pris.bc.ca Cheers!
