-> BS> A pioneer with 'Stable Platter' system, right?
-> WT> Nope, a Denon, with the same idea & larger price tag!
LC> Actually, that unit -is- a Pioneer mechanism........
WT> Always wondered if it was Denon made or Denon Labeled. Wonder
WT> who -actually- makes the mechanism? I've seen Pioneer, JVC, & Denon
WT> with the same cartridge systems. I paid Denon $ for a Pioneer! ;)
Pardon my jumping in, but these transports are VERY
well respected in the high-end industry. Wadia, EAD,
and top-line Audio Alchemy players and transports
use them extensively. I THINK Pioneer only uses this
on their upscale Elite players, but I may be mistaken.
Nothing like multi-thousand dollar cd player systems
based on a transport that ships in $400 to $800 Pioneer
players, eh?
