PE> No, I meant it was the same as in "failure to follow specs" is
PE> "failure to follow specs". Only the MSGID is PCable in the above.
RS> Its completely fanciful to claim that less than absolutely immaculate
RS> adherence to FTS-0009 on the MSGID is in fact PCable.
I don't know if that is true. The only information I have (from
the FTSC Chair) says to raise a PC, not "determine how many systems
are affected" etc.
RS> If it was a trivial
RS> problem that did not 'cause a problem for the network' you could in fact
RS> be told to go and fuck yourself and flushed right out of Fido.
Yes, that could happen. Or the reverse could happen. It's up to
the whim of the *C's, and they have been known to come up with some
of the most mind-boggling decisions known to man.
RS> Say you could prove that the same serial number in 3 years rule was
RS> breached.
RS> Whether you can grasp that or not.
Whether you can grasp that it is not your interpretation (or mine)
that counts, it is the whim of an unknown *C. Just between us two
we've got two radically different opinions. The *C may have yet
another opinion or he could have the same as one of us. Not everyone
agrees with you Rod, I'm sure you've noticed that by now. BFN. Paul.
