BS> Yes, there are some newcomers to the PHIL echo who think they've matured

BS> Where is Rev. Null?
Painful as it may be, I'm not sure that depriving them of free speech is
the answer. Juveniles CAN learn self-criticism and fair intellectual
xchange
but one should not expect it to happen overnight. One must not hesitate, of
course, to refute such childishness for that is the only way they learn. You
are probably right about their being mostly refugees from Holysmoke because I
do recall that that echo exists for atheists to flail away at Fundamentalists
just as the Skeptics echo has little content other than Creationism vs
Evolution although SOME valid thought exchange takes place even there
depending on the people linked to it at any given moment.
While PHIL does have the invaders regularly and some try to usurp the
hole
stage for moments the regular philosophical exchange never really subsides
nd
those who would teach us HOW THINGS REALLY ARE (grin) come and go. I think
Rev Null checked out a long time ago - at least we've heard nothing from him.
Sincerely,
Frank
