Aww, the babies, 2 of them anyway were just ugly and she was afraid
someone would accuse her of breeding (gasp!!!) hybrids. So she slunk off
and sold them cheap. I imagine she knew that I would fly off the handle.

Well the female is mine totally. We both paired ours together to save
money. And they really do breed well. They already have three chicks
again, about 10 days or two weeks old.

        One of the peach fronted ate some of the eggs, the maroon
        bellied's eggs look good but I can't tell yet if the 2d pair of
        MB's eggs are fertile yet. She wants to tear me up when I go to
        check. The green cheeks are probably good as I am raising some
        of her chicks now. I'm not sure if the brown throateds are
        fertile or not, or if they were and aren't now. Don't know
        yet. Can't tell if the Lory eggs are fertile yet. They only have
        two so far. I hate to read too much into looking for the vein
        lines when candling the eggs. The red throateds are pipping, the
        budgies see, to be doing well, four so far and a tiny one
        hatching tonight, and the five tiels seem to be doing well.I
        hope the blue crowns go back to nest. The scarlet chesteds are
        doing well. I hope the big birds kick in this month, I need the
        money....
