MA> Funny. We do almost no work for aerospace..I think

Don't know why. Maybe it's the fact that Allied-Signal has about 12,000
employees here and they have MANY government contracts. And they contract
out a LOT of their machine work any more. It used to be called AiResearch,
then Garrett Corp.; maybe you know who they are. And I am SURE that much of
the work is because Allied Signal pays very well and it is cheaper to
contract it out than to hire new people. My dad worked there as a CNC
machinest (years ago he ran a J&L Combi) and left my mom pretty well off in
terms of land and money in the bank. (He trusted no other investments but
land and CD's....the money kind.) And they sent us girls to college for at
least four years each; my sister has a doctorate.
MA> All of the above...the turnouts are waterproof. Also,
MA> coolers, sweat sheets, fly scrims...I probably have a

I can see that! And I was stunned last year to see that I'd invest over
$200 in horsey clothes in an area where it doesn't relly get below 35 degrees
for more than a few hours a year!
VN :>degrees today...slightly cloudy, enough drizzling in the
VN :>a.m. to annoy me into washing the car tonight! ;)
MA> Is that drizzling as in wet stuff coming from the sky?
MA> I thought that never happened in Phoenix! You lie!!!
Well, okay, in Massachusetts they would probably call it "heavy dew."
