-> Hurricanes bother you that far west? I'm surprised! That's pretty
Hey, what's 100 miles to a hurricane!? It's so flat down here they
don't even know they've struck land!
-> good time from a 20 pound propane bottle. That the same as on the
-> gas grilles?
Yeah, those that're about the same size as the old Freon bottles. We
use 'em to pressurise fertilizer tanks to put the chemicals into the
irrigation water, so we have lots of 'em.
-> Heh! Ain't surplus wunnerful? Seems the cheap parts *never* burn
-> out. Only the $20 ones...
We have a situation here where the electronics factories across the
border (Machilladores) have to ship their scrap BACK across the border.
(It never legally LEFT the US so must be disposed of in the US.)
It varies from floorsweepings, (Resistors, nuts, bolts, wire clippings,)
to circuit boards, sometimes stuffed but not soldered, completed boards,
to CASES of high quality computer components and bulk stuff by the 55
gallon barrel! Most of it goes straight to the crusher, but sometimes
if you hit the scrapyard right after the truck comes from Mexico you can
get components and stuff for ten to fifteen cents a pound. It'd be a
goldmine except if you REsell it you're in a world of hurt!!!!
