Hello Bob! Tuesday May 07 1996, Bob Henson writes to Robert Darling: RD>> I've just switched over from Bink 2.60 for DOS to the Win 32 RD>> version. RD>> I've noticed that when people freq files from me all files RD>> are now sent twice. BH> The only other system I have come across with the same problem is BH> the CRAY BBS (2:254/212)........it's a regular occurance when BH> downloading files from there..... but I think it runs under OS/2. I BH> don't know if the problem relates to Binkley or to some other part BH> of the system ....it could be the maxfiles bit...... but if you have BH> a word with Bill Hayles he may be able to shed some light on it. I had this problem but after switching to QFB instead of FB and using the unifiles.idx in Binks okfile.lst it works correctly. The problem is that using the normal index it doesn't ignore duplicate files and therefore send all copies.
