the SDL is a DOS program... who needs windows to run DOS stuff?????
the wizard is a windows program (and mac i think)... i'm sure there will be 
others but who really needs them?? no one, i should think... it's just some 
fancy interface program that all does the same thing in deep down inside... 
it transferrs the new code to the modem... everything else is way overkill 
the the real job at hand... take the internet as a major case in point... all 
it's main functions are still TEXT based but we look at pictures on it all 
the time...
