subject: glass-fragment cement?

Quoting Christopher Greaves (Sun 18 Jan 1998 12:58) to Fred Mason:
CG> Thanks for this. I began yesterday using orinary household
CG> cement to fix some scraps of glass to the clear-plastic lid
CG> of an old Christmas Card box. Looks fine.
CG> I think that next week I'll visit my local glass store and
CG> have a lightly-framed piece cut to fit inside one window,
CG> and then gradually add chunks to that after each walk along
CG> the beach.
If you're referring to Duco, we always keep that on hand.
However, I've found it not to be stable where moisture or
heat is a factor. The silicone-based product recommended by
Fred might be more suitable.
