Nancy:  There is a group in New Mexico headed by William L. Gage who 
specializes in German-Born Adoptees and Their Birth/Adoptive Families search. 
 He puts out a quarterly newsletter that you might find very useful. I'm on 
his mailing list. I believe you can register your data with him and you'll 
get on his mailing list.  His address is: William L. Gage, 805 Alvarado Drive 
N.E., Albuquerque, NM 87108.  There is also another person (independent 
search consultant) by the name of Leonie D. Boehmer who carries an ad in his 
newsletters that specializes in German searches -- and apparently, is quite
