Mathieu Bouchard visited my music studio, saying:
MB> Idem for my stuff, which is weirder than most people there can
MB> endure.. even though I found at NAID a higher concentration of weirdos
Hey, I love weird.... provided is still has some tonality to it. :)
That popular Skaven tune, "Catch that Goblin!" was pretty warped...
Needless to say, it has a permanent home on my hard drive. :)
MB> than usual. Mine is not like anything else, though the closest might be
MB> Jethro Tull and King Crimson. My music is getting weirder and weirder,
I have a style all my own as well, but not all that popular it would
seem. I like the big orchestral stuff, which is kinda' what most people
in the tracker world AREN'T all that fond of... I should just stick to
MIDI where I belong. :)
MB> year they'll throw my freshly composed music diskette at the diskette
MB> throwing compo. :)
Oooohhh I know THAT feeling. :)
MB> Speaking of which, There are rumors that NAID'97 WON'T be held.
Yipe! I hope it's held... I'd like to GO to one of these things...
was the turnout pretty good?
MB> Get the three files at my web page. At the beginning of the menu,
MB> select "Trimaje", that's the name of our demogroup. Then get "bugs"
MB> for the democompo, "envol" for the musiccompo, and "supra" for the
MB> chiptunecompo.
Well, I have some tunes out there, but I'm focusing my attention on a
new game that we're making right now... As soon as we have a demo
ready, I'll let everyone know about it. :)
And maybe this time, noone will be complaining that my music sounds like
something familiar...
(You'd think people would complain about using a Bach style, but make
something that sounds like a movie score- which I try- and people say
you copied it. They're not sure where from, but you MUST have copied
it from SOMEWHERE!) [grin]
People just bug me sometimes,...
TTYL!
