If you are using the fullscreen Opus Editor (OpEd), not LORE (Line 
Oriented Editor), you can hit ALT KH to enter the HANDLING menu. In there, 
you can select a text file to import, but you must specify the FULL pathname
e.g. C:\mail\rules\MEADOW.RUL    Sorry I don't recall the full key sequence, 
its been a while ...     Check your DOCS, or the built in HELP screens.
As I recall, these were all basic WordStar type edit commands. 
                If the file is too long, Opus will truncate it> And 
sometimes,it will not attach a complete Origin line (and thus not be Fido 
legal).
