I live in Midland, Michigan, just 3 hours South of the Mackinaw bridge on
US-10 near I-75. I can assure you no one has any DHF young male AG around
here within 60 miles pet (stores excluded -- but even them, likely). Kathy
Johnson, our moderator lives a few hundred miles to the South of me ... near
Detroit or there abouts ... perhaps she knows of someone ... good luck.
Enjoy your trip. Hope you made reservations for lodging on the Island ... it
gets very busy there in August. Oh and don't step in any horse pa-toot. Be
sure to bring french fries, bread or any edible garbarge (bread works great
as does chicken bones, etc.) to feed the sea gulls ... if you like birds that
can be quite a treat. I believe by observing other birds we can learn about
ours. On the North end of the Macinaw bridge there is a grassy area rest
stop (North lane side) where we always stop to picnic and feed them. Bring a
blanket. Most anywhere up there works for the gulls are everywhere and
always hungrey.
If you want to talk off topic trip send email to tom.weiss@eworld.com. I
check mail everyday but not until after July 10th, for I'll be headed West
then ... Oh and welcome to PARROTS!
