subject: uppercase directories

VB> Running under win95, anyone know how to make it so that when I use the
VB> DIR command, directories are displayed in uppercase and the files in
VB> lowercase?
Disable long file names,
or rename all the directories so they are uppercase :)
and the files as lowercase.
global for /ad x in (*.*) do ren %X /S %@upper[%x]
global for /a-d x in (*.*) do ren %X %@lower[%x]
etc...
it may be more suitable to simply set up colorisation to make the directories
come out "bold"
set colordir=dirs: bright white on black
