PE> Actually, after getting an EOT I only delete lines starting
 PE> "---" and "origin" etc.

Very wise... but you lost a genuine Origin line.

I could still use EOT to send secret messages written inside "---"
lines.

PE> Bob, your EOT is out-of-spec. You did that deliberately and
 PE> maliciously.

I did it deliberately but not maliciously. When I do things
maliciously I don't give forwarnings.

PE> Don't do that through this system again.

It's your system... so I won't add ^1EOT: intentionally again. It is
always possible that I may do it accidentally.

PE> If you wish to generate out-of-spec messages, go and dial
PE> someone else instead, like David Drummond.

What out-of-spec message? Which FTS spec did I break?

Regards,
Bob
