TR> Just out of curiosity does anyone out there know what
TR> was used to do Toy Story?
RD> Don't know for sure, but I assumed it was a SUN.
EK> actually if im not mistaken it was the indy machines. I spoke to rob
EK> williams (i tihnk that's his name) some time last year.. the guy from
EK> ILM and he told us (or is it steve??) (out class) that they used
EK> indys. He came to do a little promo for our art program and he told
EK> us about the movies and stuff he did, and it was all done on the indys
Well whatever system it was, I could tell from the images that it was
NOT a Commodore AMIGA. The Amiga 4000 with video "toaster" is the BEST
computer art machine available. All of the best computer video is done with
them. Look at "The Last Starfighter" and all of the space scenes on Babylon
5. Disney would do well to invest in AMIGA technology and dump any PC of
MAC tech.
