Like the provervial white knight, "Salvation is here, peasant!" ;) I went 
looking for something tonight to do this and grabbed a file off Aminet9 
in music/edit called MULTISAMPLE.LHA. It's just over 28k and is damn 
fast at converting between different formats. To convert 60 IFF files 
totalling just under 1.5meg to WAV took approximately 9 seconds. 

The only downside is that there's no ALL selection in the requester and
you have to hold down the shift key to use multi-select. It converts
between Amiga RAW, ST RAW, WAV and IFF.

It's completely free, bloody fast and easy to use. If you can't find it I'll
email it to you.
