I can not judge what happened on that day, the fact is that an
extraterrestrial event is not impossible, so you could be completely accurate
in your interpretation of what happen that day. All I was saying is that
these types of documentations are not very useful, when the extraordinary
nature of the subject requires extremely strong evidence.
I am completely unsure on the matter. You look at events like Tehran 76 and
any conventional explanation fails (to date) to explain the event. This
involves strong evidence, yet if you ask me if it was an alien craft, I could
never answer that it was - its just so extraordinary. On the other hand, I
could not dismiss it as a meteor and Jupiter playing tricks on the pilots
because this hypothesis completely fails under the fastest examination.
So what does one do? Well, we had an idea here of an automated video system
with various detectors to separate out the human air traffic (ie. neutron
emissions are produced from fusion processes). Anyhow, this requires some
time to do but we will get around to it. I'll never be convinced until I see
it for my self. I even think the department will allow us to do it under a
different title. We currently spending 6 week investigating if
sonoluminescence produces x-rays which is fairly new research (SL is an
effect where bubbles in water emit light in due to high frequency sound being
directed through the water). The next project is a new railgun design a
friend and I have been looking at. The armed forces takes this stuff very
seriously and the department will give as 6 months to build it. Then I was
hoping to get this surveillance system going.
