 Good question.  Steve Carlton won 27 games for the Phillies, in a
 year that they were well under .500.  They may have only won 60 games
 for all I can remember.
 However, I don't think that Keith's analysis of Pettite's "record" would
 even stand as a Yankee team record.  In 1978, when Ron Guidry went 25-3
 for the Yanks, I believe that 15 of his wins followed Yankee losses.
