Poor silly senile old fart. *WE* never needed to have any local manufacture,
ALL we need is more than one OVERSEAS manufacturer to provide competition.

That way we dont have shaft the people here who buy TVs with tariffs.

The proposition that *WE* can ever have a hope in hell of doing world
class manufacturing of the low end of TVs for the mass consumer market
in competition with China is just plain barking mad Bob. And plenty who
get to make the decisions on tariffs have noticed, even if clowns like
yourself keep furiously living in the past on that.
