Up to now I've been all SCSI. I got a large IDE drive (Seagate barracuda 250g)
which isn't recognized by the built in IDE controller on the ASUS A7V266-E MB.
I set the jumper to report a small size but since the BIOS doesn't see the
drive the DANI506 driver doesn't even load. I would like to use the drive for
storage and local backup so I won't need to boot from it. If I get an IDE
controller card would this drive work, if so any recommendations on a suitable
card. In case it matters I've included the output of the PCI utility regarding
the built-in IDE controller.
