I have been trying to resist the IBM PL/I compiler, but you may have
just tipped the scale against me. I have not seen the demo but I am
sorely tempted by the Personal Edition. The only micro PL/I that I
have tried was the CP/M version by Digital Research. I think I paid
something like $795 for it. I have an unattributed PL/I compiler for the
PC which was apparently a beta test and was never marketed. No manual
for it, of course, but I did recompile some of the CP/M programs
successfully with it. My main reluctance is that I only write programs
as a hobby and I like to share them with people who do not use OS/2.
Still I think I will get it.
