Jon,
I recently bought Petzold's newest edition, published by Ziff-Davis,
ISBN 1-56276-123-4. I haven't seen the older version, but in the introduction
he says that he replaced chapter 7 with a discussion of advanced graphics
techniques (Bezier splines, paths, etc) and added a chapter on printing at
the end. It's a great book, IMHO.
