AF> The first {July / August} Issue of "Australian Multimedia and Desktop
AF> Video" arrived today.
AF>
AF> Amiga Content.......Nearly non-Existant. =(
AF>
AF> To quote them....."Readers of the old Amiga Review may have noticed a
AF> certain dearth of Amiga content in this first issue of Multimedia and
AF> desktop Video. There's a reason for this. The Amiga world is turning
AF> very, very slowly these days.
AF>
AF> One of the reasons why the last Amiga Review took so long to arrive is
AF> that, essentially, it took ages to gather enough material for a decent
AF> magazine."
AF>
AF> They go on how there is little press releases etc compared to heaps
AF> for the IBM. They then compare the Amiga to an IBM.
AF>
AF> The other articles are about Internet Web Browsers, plus some others
AF> on Escom trouble and other things. Plus some letters to the editor.
AF> About 9 pages all up.
Predictable that there was going to be nearly bugger-all Amiga content! As
for the Amigaa world turning slowly these days and there being little
material to gather a decent magazine- well utter BULL!!! We're do the
producers of this mag live, Mars! Makes me wonder how CU Amiga, Amiga
Format and all the other chunky European magazines do it every month if
there's nothing to report on (sarcasm x1 000 000). Might be worth sending
letters to these people expressing similar sentiment. Subscribers cancel
and get your money back and tell them where they can shove it. Sorry, but
this makes my blood boil, and only encourages the death of computer
platforms!
