Much the same thing has happened here over the past week or so, but I've
given up mentioning problems with Paul's modems, as he doesn't really
appear to give a shit.  His end would answer, then the modems would
immediately lose carrier.  The subsequent call appeared to be fine on each
occasion.

Who cares though, I've given up worrying about it.
